PSEG Explorations in stem

As Program Coordinator (2019-2020), I facilitated all related professional development and community building programming, including mentorship and monitoring progress of program participants.

Funded by PSEG and organized by Undergraduate Research & Creative Activities (URECA) and the Career Center, Explorations in STEM is a 10-week summer program that supports Stony Brook University undergraduate students doing full-time faculty-mentored research in STEM fields.

The Explorations program provides weekly professional development workshops and events for participants and concludes with a closing poster symposium at the end of the summer.

In 2020, we successfully converted Explorations to an entirely virtual program, including the end-of-summer virtual poster symposium!
